It might seem a bit contradictory, we know, because if you're subscribed to Disney+, it's clear that one of the reasons is the wide range of Disney and Pixar animated films; however, we've found a few that aren't from the "parent company" but are available on the platform.

Let's start with the entire Ice Age saga, as Disney+ features all five films released between 2002 and 2016. The first one is now considered one of the best animated films ever, and watching it again today, it remains splendid.

The same goes for Shrek, as Disney+ has the first three films of the franchise, which have also become an integral part of global pop culture and a classic of animation.

On Disney+, you can also find Snoopy & Friends - The Peanuts Movie, based on the famous comic strips by Charles M. Schulz and directed by Steve Martino, released in 2015. The story is the classic one of Snoopy and Charlie Brown, with all their friends and supporting characters.

We'll change the mood completely with Predator - Prey, released this year and directed by Dan Trachtenberg, which immediately became a must-see for fans of the saga, as it tells three different historical moments in which a Predator appears to hunt other warriors. Here's our review of Predator - Prey.

Finally, we have Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogs from 2018, a stop-motion film that tells the story of a Japanese city that has banished all dogs to an island.
