Recently, some statements made by Quentin Tarantino about an actor considered among the most talented on the contemporary scene have sparked controversy.
Quentin Tarantino’s statements have a long history of being controversial. This sort of behaviour is marked by his recent comments about a much-respected actor. Pulling no punches, Tarantino railed against Dano as "the most bland, mild actor… the most unpunished actor in all of Hollywood.” Yet it wasn’t the first time Tarantino had sparked outrage with such opinions.
He’s also been openly disparaging about George Clooney, stating that he does not have any redeeming features as an actor beyond the early 2000s. But Tarantino’s most controversial comments were about Roman Polanski. He touched on Polanski’s interactions with Samantha Geimer, which he controversially called a “healthy sexual relationship,” an assertion that he later apologized for having made and of which he believed that, in the moment when it was made, it was a “provocative idea.”
Quentin Tarantino has a problem with Superhero movies, and it’s not because they suck The superhero movie tentpole overkill is something that has earned the ire of director Quentin Tarantino, and albeit he seems to be looking at things from a completely different perspective—what kind of damage could these comic book adaptations etc., do as opposed to what any filmmaker is trying to accomplish when making an artistically viable film—at least his viewpoints are provocative. He’s made it very clear he doesn’t want to work with studios like Marvel or Disney.
In the end, it becomes clear that this is more than just Tarantino’s affection for movies. Parents not supporting their children’s dreams don’t deserve financial support: Ayushmann. In a chat with Brian Koppelman, he reflected that parents who don't facilitate the dreams of their kids shouldn't get handouts - something coming from personal experiences.
