The Mass Jathara movie trailer is out, and it’s on fire with energy, dialogues, and mass madness. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is back in a no nonsense railway police officer role and this 2 minute sizzle promises a full on cinematic ride which is equal parts thrilling and funny. Directed by debutant Bhanu Bhogavarapu, Ravi Teja is back to his old self, the raw charm that made him a superstar in the early 2000s, with a modern twist.
From the very first scene, Mass Jathara gets you and holds you. Ravi Teja enters as a serious police officer watching the trains and his serious look and confidence reminds us of his earlier movies like Khaleja and Mirapakay. The trailer starts with an intense train chase where Ravi Teja’s character takes down a group of smugglers with ease—imagine high octane stunts, flying kicks and a slow motion punch that packs a punch. “This is not a job, it’s my festival” he growls in one of the best lines of the trailer and sets the tone for a story that has personal grudges and extra ordinary heroism.
What sets this trailer apart from regular action films is the way it combines humor and romance. Meet Sreeleela, the lively actress who brings in energy as Ravi Teja’s love interest, a Srikakulam girl who is down to earth and funny. Her language and her personality bring in real charm and comedy to the story. Their spark is visible from the very first playful conversation – a funny train incident that turns into a passionate romance with wild chases. Sreeleela’s expressive eyes and her quick comebacks are a perfect contrast to Ravi Teja’s serious face, reminds us of their chemistry in Dhamaka. A scene where she pulls him into a traditional dance, with lively moves and playful innuendos had the preview audience in splits.
The supporting cast is good and hints at more. Naveen Chandra is a solid antagonist, his brooding screen presence suggests he has a personal score to settle with the hero and perhaps the smuggling ring is connected to Ravi Teja’s past. Nitish Nirmal and Ritu P Sood have small but interesting characters with subplots of betrayal and redemption. Bhanu Bhogavarapu makes his directorial debut after penning scripts for Karthikeya 2 and has a good sense of pacing; the trailer never drags and balances the action and emotional scenes.
Mass Jathara is a big film and a huge compliment to Bheems Ceciroleo’s music, which is a character in itself. Folk inspired rhythms for the rural backdrop of Srikakulam and electronic bursts for the city fights makes the sound raw and refined. Cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna has given stunning visuals with wide shots of trains along the coast and intense close ups of brutal and sweaty fights making Mass Jathara look as grand as it is. Navin Nooli’s editing is so fast that the trailer looks like a short film in itself.
Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and presented by Srikara Studios, Mass Jathara is going to be a big hit this Diwali. First show on October 31st at 6 PM and global release on November 1st 2025. Perfect timing to cash in on the holiday season. Initial response is super and fans are calling it “dhamaka-crack combination” and Ravi Teja is the king of mass entertainment. If this trailer is anything to go by Mass Jathara is more than a film it’s a festival of fun, intensity and memories. Save the date; the Maharaja is back to rule the industry again.
