This series took the opportunity of James Gunn becoming the head of DC and graduating from Marvel, and the Guardians movie by the original members will conclude with the third film ''Guardians of the Galaxy: VOLUME 3'' (2023). Ta. However, it seems that many fans are looking forward to the fourth installment. On X (formerly Twitter), Gunn asked for only questions that could be answered with a "yes" or "no," and one fan asked, "Will there be a Guardians of the Galaxy 4 in the future?" Gunn answered "No." Another fan asked the same question, to which Gunn replied, "No."

In response to the double-whammy "NO," one fan commented, "It's sad but I understand," but the answer was simply that there would be no "Guardians of the Galaxy 4" directed by Gunn. This does not mean that there is zero chance of Guardians returning to the MCU in the future. Gunn has previously stated that he wants the series to continue, and has indicated that he would hand over the reins to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

The ending of ''VOLUME 3'' makes us look forward to the reappearance of the main character, Star-Lord/Peter Quill, and Chris Pratt, who plays the role, also said, ''It would be difficult to make it happen without cancer.'' However, he added, ''If it makes sense and I feel like it's a story worth telling, I'll definitely be open to it.'' Zoe Saldana, who played Gamora in the trilogy, is also eager for the Guardians to come back, saying, ''If Marvel doesn't find a way to bring back the Guardians of the Galaxy, it will be a huge loss for them.'' I think it will be,” he said.

Although it may be difficult to gather all the original members of the trilogy, I hope that the Guardians will appear in some form in the MCU in the future.
